The eclipse

On August 2, 2027, the Moon’s shadow will bring up to 6 minutes 23 seconds of totality—the second-longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century. No eclipse has lasted longer since 2009. No longer one returns until 2114. For most of us, it is the greatest eclipse opportunity of our lifetime.
